Core Responsibilities:

  • Engage with precision machinery, including ball mills and generators.
  • Conduct inspections, document findings, and outline work scope.
  • Utilize precision instruments for accurate measurements and alignments.
  • Assemble, install, and connect various machinery components.
  • Disassemble and fabricate machine parts as necessary.
  • Operate diverse machinery and perform maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to supervisor directives and undertake additional assigned tasks.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience in industrial construction and maintenance.
  • Expertise in hand tools, power tools, and layout instruments.
  • Understanding of industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NCCER Certification for Journeyman Industrial Millwright.
  • Previous employment with Zachry Group.
  • Basic computer proficiency and relevant technical education.

Physical Demands:

  • Involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting tasks.
  • Requires good dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and work at elevated heights.
  • Visual acuity and capacity to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Mandatory use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
