We are seeking a highly qualified candidate for an Open Rank faculty position in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Virginia. The successful candidate will join our team of experts in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy.
Responsibilities- Develop an independent clinical research program in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy
- Participate in multidisciplinary team care and clinical research within the Cancer Center
- Teach fellows, residents, and medical students in the field of hematology/oncology
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Department of Medicine and the Cancer Center
- MD or equivalent degree
- Board-eligibility or Board-certification in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
- Board certification in Internal Medicine is encouraged
