Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Technician to join our team at Konecranes Nuclear Equip and Services LLC. As an Industrial Technician, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance on cranes and hoists to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and structural issues on-site, using your expertise to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Perform post-repair audits to verify safety features are functioning correctly.
  • Document findings and recommend corrective actions, including safety notifications to customers.
  • Collaborate with customers to address repair and safety issues, offering recommendations for material handling improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry codes and regulations, including OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, and HMI.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience involving electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs, lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis, and lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to work varied overtime, be available for on-call service, and travel occasionally.
