Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Services Specialist to join our Behavioral Health team in Mount Vernon, WA.

About the Role:

The Social Services Specialist will work autonomously and collaboratively with the mental health team to provide housing resources and support interventions for clients. This role requires a strong understanding of social work principles and the ability to design and implement effective housing support strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultations to the mental health team on housing resources and support interventions
  • Design and implement housing support interventions for clients and/or refer them to established community providers
  • Work collaboratively with the mental health team to provide comprehensive support services

Requirements:

  • Counselor Certification (Washington State) with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or Educational Psychology
  • Internship or practicum experience with direct counseling services to clients
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred
