About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Designated Crisis Responder to join our Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) in Mount Vernon. As a key member of our team, you will provide crisis intervention services to individuals of all ages experiencing acute behavioral health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis intervention services to individuals in crisis, utilizing evidence-based practices and a strength-based, solution-focused approach.
  • Collaborate with individuals, families, and community partners to develop and implement crisis plans.
  • Provide support and backup to team members as needed, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Document all interactions and services provided in our electronic medical record system.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a behavioral science-related field (e.g., social work, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling).
  • Current Washington State licensure or equivalent in social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling.
  • Qualification as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) as defined by WAC.
  • Experience in medical, mental health, or social services preferred.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
