Job Summary
Nuvance Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide professional care and assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing and systematic assessments of patients' physiologic, psychological, and cognitive status.
- Formulate a goal-directed plan of care based on determined nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes.
- Implement care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent, and continuous manner.
- Establish priorities of patient care based on essential patient needs and available resources.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care given and patient progression toward outcomes.
- Identify patients' and significant others' learning needs and implement appropriate measures to meet them.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary functions.
- Fulfill all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- State of CT RN license.
- Desired: BSN.
- Location: Danbury-24 Hospital Ave.
- Standard Hours: 36.00.
- Department: General Medicine 2.
- Exempt: No.
- Salary Range: $57.57 hourly.

- Significant manual skills / motor coord & finger dexterity.
- Significant occupational risk.
- Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force.
