About the Role

The Clinical Staff Pharmacist plays a critical role in providing pharmaceutical care to patients of all ages. This includes medication order review, preparation, dispensing, documentation, monitoring, patient counseling, and medication reconciliation. The Clinical Pharmacist collaborates with patients, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, effective, and fiscally responsible patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret, review, and process medication orders
  • Screen orders for appropriateness and intervene as warranted
  • Provide patients and providers with therapeutic assessments and selected disease management
  • Work towards improving patient and practice outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree required
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) preferred
  • Progressive pharmaceutical care experience or Pharmacy Practice Residency preferred

Estimated Pay Range

$68.03 per hour, depending on experience
