Key Responsibilities:
As a Retail Sales Supervisor, you will be the primary sales leader, guiding your team towards achieving personal and store objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Regularly communicating with and coaching staff to ensure excellence in sales and service.
  • Implementing best practices, regulatory processes, and internal policies.
  • Carrying out operational, sales, and retail tasks as assigned by the company.
  • Protecting company assets and minimizing loss by adhering to store standards and operating procedures.
  • Assisting with inventory tasks as needed.
  • Serving as a resource for staff regarding products, services, and industry regulations.
  • Addressing staff questions, concerns, or suggestions promptly.
  • Resolving conflicts in a timely manner.
  • Inspiring staff to deliver exceptional customer service that reflects the JARS brand.
  • Utilizing reporting tools to motivate employees towards sales and promotions.
  • Providing training to ensure consistent high-level customer service.
  • Promoting teamwork by collaborating with the management team and providing clear direction.
  • Ensuring compliance with JARS policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining a strong relationship with the General Manager.
  • Performing cash management duties related to opening and closing the retail location.


Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of customer service experience in retail, sales, or hospitality.
  • At least 1 year of previous retail management experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Aged 21 years or older.
  • A valid MED Badge.
  • A high school diploma or GED.


Work Environment:
This role requires some standing, bending, and stretching. You will operate a computer and POS system in a fast-paced retail cannabis environment, with frequent interaction with customers and staff. Availability for varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is necessary.
