Job Summary:

As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the operating room, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure the smooth execution of surgical procedures. Your attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and commitment to patient safety will make you an invaluable member of our surgical team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and sterilized
• Prepare and arrange surgical instruments and equipment as needed
• Monitor and maintain patient safety and well-being during procedures
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective care

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• 2-4 years of experience in a surgical setting preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Working Conditions:

• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens and other infectious materials
• May be required to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull equipment as needed

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
