About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technician II to join our team at St. Joseph Health. As a Surgical Technician II, you will play a critical role in preparing the operating room for a variety of surgeries, ensuring that all necessary instrumentation and sterilization are in place.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization
  • Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you will be supporting
  • Adapt to the needs of emergency situations
  • Provide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patient
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1+ Years Of Experience In Surgical Tech role
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CST/CSFA) required as of September 1, 2010
  • American Heart Associate BLS CPR
