We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mammography services to patients in accordance with physician orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mammography images through clinical protocols and position patients to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest.
- Develop films in accordance with proper techniques and evaluate mammography images for technical quality.
- Provide patient education on procedures and facilitate patient cooperation and alleviation of anxiety.
- Verify appropriate procedures to be performed by checking physician orders and prior reports.
Requirements:
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire.
- Basic Life Support certification required.
- Radiologic Technologist Certification required at hire from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year of mammography experience.
