We are seeking a highly motivated and animal-loving individual to join our team at Howlin Hollows Farm as a Kennel/Daycare Attendant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of our canine guests, ensuring their safety and happiness during their stay with us.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and engage with groups of dogs in our play areas, providing a fun and safe environment for them to exercise and socialize.
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment within our kennels and play areas, including cleaning pet waste, spilled food, and other messes.
- Monitor and record important information about each dog's behavior, habits, and health, ensuring that we provide the best possible care for each individual.
- Bathe dogs as needed, and perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of our facility.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience caring for animals is highly recommended.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Enjoy spending time outdoors with dogs in various weather conditions.
- Ability to interact with dogs of all sizes and breeds in a calm and positive manner.
- Available to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage stressful situations.
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ pounds.
