We are seeking a skilled and experienced construction professional to join our team as a Senior Construction Supervisor at Horizon Construction Group. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of $65,000 - $95,000 per year.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the final stages of construction projects, ensuring that they meet quality standards, safety regulations, and client expectations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing project plans and architectural drawings to understand project requirements
  • Coordinating with architects, engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to align on project goals and timelines
  • Meeting with the on-site team regularly to review schedules and ensure progress
  • Conducting regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets standards and addressing defects daily
  • Managing subcontractors for specialized tasks, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality
  • Oversight of installation of finishing materials, ensuring proper alignment and functionality

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years' experience in construction, including large-scale multi-family residential and/or commercial construction
  • OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certification required upon employment
  • Familiarity with all facets of construction, including earthwork, drainage, framing, finishes, and mechanicals
  • Strong supervisory, teaching, and motivational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
