Unlock Your Sales Potential:

As a Regional Sales Representative at Performance Food Group, you will be responsible for developing and growing regional multi-unit account business, with a focus on overall profitability through new sales and account penetration. You will support customer service activities for regional and national chain customers, increasing visibility of the Company in the marketplace and maximizing market share.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate additional business through analyzing individual customers, sampling products, and planning sales strategies.
  • Grow sales and profit margins on an ongoing basis.
  • Set up new customer accounts, determine pricing, and work with Credit Department for initial authorization.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and resolving problems.
  • Build additional business with current customers by selling them on additional products.
  • Minimize accounts receivable problems by monitoring accounts and following up on any issues.
  • Maintain awareness of pricing trends within the sales territory.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalent required. 1-2 years of Foodservice industry sales experience or related area preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, sales/marketing or related area preferred.
