Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Operations Planner to join our team at Peraton. As a key member of our Federal Security Cyber sector, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing plans to protect, detect, respond to, and recover from cybersecurity risks or incidents.

Responsibilities

As a Cybersecurity Operations Planner, you will be responsible for:
  1. Developing formal plans for defense operations, including coordinated actions to protect against cybersecurity risks or incidents.
  2. Developing plans to limit, mitigate, or defend against coordinated, malicious operations that pose a potential risk to critical infrastructure or national interests.
  3. Prioritizing risks and developing plans focused on addressing the greatest risks.
  4. Establishing measures of effectiveness for cyber defense plans that examine current plans and prior incidents for lessons learned and best practices.
  5. Supporting CISA in day-to-day cyber operations planning and execution. Coordinating meetings and facilitating internal and external engagements.
  6. Supporting coordination with partners during major incidents and exercises, facilitating information exchange and responding to requests for information or assistance.
  7. Coordinating with partners on cyber threat, vulnerability, and/or incident related information.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Possess demonstrated ability to create and implement strategies to acquire and operationalize cyber programs. Working knowledge of cyber operations theory, employment, and tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • An Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Target Salary Range

$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
