Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, adhering to established standards of care, policies, and procedures.
- Assist medical personnel with special procedures, minor surgical procedures, and diagnostic exams, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor patient condition and notify physicians or healthcare professionals for disposition, maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by physician orders, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Perform routine diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, and assist with procedures like endotracheal intubations and proctological procedures.
- Transport patients to and from designated areas, ensuring safe and efficient movement.
- Participate in development of nursing care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Provide medical information and education to patients, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Document patient information, assessments, and nursing procedures, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Zero to one year of LVN experience.
- Vocational Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support certification.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Level II required.
