From pediatric to geriatric care, we deliver comprehensive medical services to residents and visitors in the Estes Park area.

Our healthcare professionals serve thousands of patients annually, providing both outpatient and inpatient care.

ROLE SUMMARY:
Responsible for administering outpatient infusion therapies as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adaptable scheduling for outpatient infusion patients.
  • Deliver direct patient care and education.
  • Safely administer all medications, including chemotherapy agents.
  • Complete necessary documentation for medication administration, including patient records and billing.
  • Maintain effective communication with healthcare providers, patients, families, and staff.
  • Collaborate with the Outpatient Care Coordinator and delegate clinical tasks appropriately.
  • Exhibit proficiency in emergency response situations.
  • Work alongside the Director to monitor and assess quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with fellow infusion nurses and leadership to develop and uphold nursing standards and policies.
  • Provide assistance in other clinical areas as needed.
  • Comply with all local, state, federal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in oncology nursing; both inpatient and outpatient experience preferred.
  • Valid Colorado RN license or multistate RN license through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
  • ACLS certification from AHA required within six months of hire.
  • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required; ONCC preferred.
