R&D Electrical Engineer Job Summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a highly skilled R&D Electrical Engineer to join our team in Alamo, Tennessee. This is an exciting opportunity to work on creating new products and refining our current portfolio.

About the Role

You will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, developing new technical concepts, designing new products, and simulating their expected performances. You will also manage development projects independently, ensuring they meet time, budget, and quality requirements.

Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies and develop new technical concepts
  • Design and simulate new products
  • Manage development projects independently
  • Share knowledge and findings with production environment
  • Participate in international pre-standardization and standardization work
About You
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Candidate must already have the work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
  • Extensive knowledge of design and development experience of IEEE HV insulation components
  • Proven track record as project leader
  • Competence in using CAD tools, simulation tools, Windchill, SAP, and MS Office
Estimated Salary

$130,000 - $160,000 per year
