Night Auditor/Relief-Saturday

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Night Auditor/Relief-Saturday to join our team at Residence Inn. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for handling guest requests, transactions, and coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless service.

• Verify front desk shift transactions and process credit card payments
• Post room and tax charges to guest folios and finalize day transactions
• Create and print required reports, file or transmit as directed
• Prepare folios for departing guests and handle hotel phone system
• Take, modify, and cancel guest reservations, noting special requests
• Assist in verifying, balancing, and maximizing room availability
• Check in/out guests, verify departure dates, and offer future reservations
• Communicate property facilities and services to guests at check-in
• Answer guest questions regarding local area facilities
• Post phone-charges, valet charges, and miscellaneous charges to guest accounts
• Administer guest payment policies and responsible for shift cash transactions
• Responsible for following hotel's cash handling procedures and maintaining key security system
• Administer guest safe deposit boxes and use the L.E.A.R.N Model for guest recovery incidents
• Have a friendly and welcoming demeanor when interacting with guests
• Fulfill guest special requests courteously and answer questions regarding hotel and local area facilities
• Work alone as the sole employee and manager on duty during the graveyard shift
• Update guestroom status and inform Housekeeping of dirty suites
• Read and communicate clearly, distribute mail and correspondence, and coordinate with other departments
• Notify Housekeeping and maintenance of reported problems with guestrooms, public areas, and grounds
• Track status of guestrooms used for tours and in maintenance
• Assist in setting up the breakfast buffet as directed
