Night Auditor/Relief-Saturday

We are seeking a skilled Night Auditor/Relief-Saturday to join our Residence Inn team. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for handling guest requests and transactions, coordinating with other departments, and providing exceptional guest service.

1. Verify front desk shift transactions and process credit card payments.
2. Post room and tax charges to guest folios and finalize day transactions.
3. Create and print required reports, file or transmit them as directed.
4. Prepare folios for departing guests and handle hotel phone system duties.
5. Take, modify, and cancel guest reservations, noting special requests.
6. Assist in verifying, balancing, and maximizing hotel room availability.
7. Verify, balance, and review guestroom availability, and check in/out guests.
8. Communicate property facilities and services to guests at check-in and answer questions about local area facilities.
9. Post phone-charges, valet charges, and other miscellaneous charges to guest accounts.
10. Administer guest payment policies, responsible for shift cash transactions, and follow hotel cash handling procedures.
11. Maintain hotel key security system, administer guest safe deposit boxes, and use the L.E.A.R.N Model for guest recovery incidents.
12. Have a friendly and welcoming demeanor when interacting with guests, fill out maintenance work orders, and bring lost and found items to the supervisor's office.
13. Accommodate guest special requests, answer questions about hotel and local area facilities, and work alone as the sole employee and manager on duty during the graveyard shift.
14. Update guestroom status, inform Housekeeping, and distribute mail and other correspondence to guests and hotel staff.
15. Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest special requests, notify Housekeeping and maintenance of reported problems, and track guestroom status.
16. Assist in setting up the breakfast buffet as directed and carry out any reasonable request by management.
