Job Overview

The KidStrong Assistant General Manager is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our center in DFW. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving business growth through effective sales strategies.

Salary: $45,000 plus bonus, making this a highly competitive offer in the industry. In addition to the salary, you can expect benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and a monthly performance bonus. Our centers are located in various locations, but the primary location for this position will be TBD.

Responsibilities
  • Understand and drive the center's key KPIs and financials, including a profit and loss statement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with KidStrong families to align with our core values.
  • Support center-level initiatives such as maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance of the center.
  • Manage employee issues and documentation.
  • Typical schedule includes 4 weekday and 1 weekend shifts.
  • Schedule, sell, and staff events like Camps and Parties to maximize center profitability.
Sales Strategy
  • Drive membership sales through high-volume outbound phone calls on inbound leads (50+ calls/day).
  • Properly manage and exceed all KidStrong sales and operational budgets.
  • Respond and follow through in a timely manner with corporate/owner requests and client/lead requests.
  • Drive sales through thorough trial conversion in the center.
Leadership
  • Foster a coaching culture - see something, say something.
  • Continuously assess and document Coaches based on the KidStrong Coach DNA profile and class quality.
  • Achieve all Certifications required by KidStrong HQ per your role and responsibilities.
  • Support recruiting, managing, training, and evaluating coaching candidates.
  • Manage ongoing professional development of staff through LearnUpon.
  • Support center-level staff meetings and trainings.
  • Attend weekly leadership meeting with DFW leaders.
Certifications
  • CPR certified.
  • Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required.
  • Previous experience in management is preferred but not required.
Requirements
  • Passion for working with children is non-negotiable.
  • Comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding variety of topics.
  • Practical work experience with Google platforms.
  • Previous experience with systems and platforms such as GloFox, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, and Gusto is preferred but not required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
