Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at EGIS. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, engineering, and documenting electrical systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake a full design review of drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure compliance with applicable standards and industry guides.
  • Develop engineering alternative solutions, including detailed calculations and sketches for client approval.
  • Review and coordinate construction drawings and RFIs with the client.
  • Prepare and monitor procurement schedules in conjunction with the procurement team.
  • Prepare and monitor technical submittals for approval by the client.
  • Review and coordinate LEED and BREEAM requirements and submittals as required.
  • Prepare operation and maintenance manuals.
  • Assist with client attendance during the commissioning stage.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in electrical project engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems from a design or construction perspective.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Knowledge of current electrical, fire alarm, and emergency lighting standards.
  • Knowledge of key engineering software packages such as Dialux or Relux, Amtech, and Navisworks.
