EDA Staffing is a prominent provider of integrated rail services, catering to the needs of the transportation sector. Our operations span across the United States, delivering essential services such as mechanical maintenance, inspections, repairs, and cleaning, with a focus on passenger rail systems.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of passenger railcars and locomotives as needed.
  • Operate various equipment including tractors, tugs, forklifts, oil pumps, and overhead cranes (after receiving the necessary training).
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including general cleaning and waste disposal tasks.
  • Support inventory management by offloading and properly storing stock.
  • Load outgoing inventory onto trucks.
  • Perform minor building repairs as required.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent literacy and reasoning skills).
  • Preferred familiarity and proficiency with hand tools.
  • Demonstrated positive work history and personnel record.
  • Experience operating a forklift is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including potential overtime.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment screening process.
