Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise in software requirements analysis, design, and testing.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test procedures, and test reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Design and execute test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce testing time.
  • Provide second-level engineering support for the CSS-Wx system.
  • Participate in system design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and other meetings as requested.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Math, or a Bachelor's degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science, and twelve (12) years of related work experience in a computer science or math field.
  • Master's Degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours of either undergraduate or graduate study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science, and nine (9) years related work experience in a computer science or math field.
  • Proficient knowledge and skills of testing experience, with the ability to develop test documentation.
  • Expertise to design and execute test activities with minimal direction.
  • Second-level experience in trouble shooting, fault isolation, and system restoration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with project management.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of Linux shell scripts to support application software testing and administration.
  • Experience with C, C++, Java, SQL.
