Stark County Park District is seeking motivated individuals for a Wildlife Rehabilitation Internship. This exciting opportunity allows students to gain hands-on experience in animal care and education.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the care and rehabilitation of native Ohio wildlife, including providing species-specific diets and enrichment activities.
  • Gain knowledge of state and federal regulations governing wildlife rehabilitation and non-lethal solutions to human-wildlife conflicts.
  • Participate in public education and outreach programs to promote wildlife conservation.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in biology, pre-vet, zoology, or conservation.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
