Responsibilities:
Take and document all patient history and vital signs
Perform and document all patient history and vital signs, mental health screenings and/or evaluations
Respond to and initiate care for medical and mental health emergencies
Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures, patient assessments, examinations and/or treatment
Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreement
Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility
Observe and evaluate the performance of the licensed practical/vocational nursing staff
Qualifications:
Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in WA
Valid CPR card
Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred
Position may require standing or walking for long periods of time while performing duties
