Qualifications for a Culinary Specialist:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of two years in culinary arts and meal preparation.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in a similar role, supervisory experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities for a Culinary Specialist:
- Prepare high-quality meals ensuring consistency, presentation, flavor, and temperature.
- Maintain safe food handling practices including receiving, storage, cooking, serving, and sanitation of kitchen tools and workspace.
- Manage food costs effectively by adhering to recipes, preparing appropriate food quantities, and utilizing proper cooking techniques.
- Collaborate with the production team to support all dining services including catering and events.
