For those considering PRN roles, please note that compensation is calculated differently compared to Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN rates are determined by the specific role and other factors, including experience and shift commitments as per departmental policies. Additional PRN differentials may apply in certain roles.
Position Summary:
Under the guidance of the Medical Director and/or Laboratory Director, the Anatomic Pathology Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the Anatomic Pathology Department.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Completion of a Pathologists Assistant training program or equivalent on-the-job experience
Desirable:
- At least six months of recent experience in a hospital setting
- Certification as a Pathologists Assistant (ASCP)
