Job Title: Administrative Management Specialist II

Join the Jefferson Parish team as an Administrative Management Specialist II and contribute to the success of our organization. As a key member of our team, you will provide specialized administrative support to the Director(s) and assist with the coordination and management of federal grant programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the coordination and management of federal grant programs, including research, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Provide technical guidance to citizens of Jefferson Parish on grant processes and procedures.
  • Facilitate public meetings with grant applicants and stakeholders, including property owners and outside organizations.
  • Prepare property-specific files for grant applications and implementation, including research and data collection.
  • Perform field visits to photograph properties and review property ownership and flood zone information.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of paid work experience in a related capacity, or an Associate's degree and three years of paid work experience, or a high school diploma and five years of paid work experience.
  • Experience in grant program management, customer service, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
