Job Description:

Ryder is seeking a dedicated and experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team in Mankato, MN. As a solo driver, you will be responsible for delivering freight to various locations across the Midwest region, including MN, IA, WI, ND, NE, MT, CO, WY, and SD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs
  • Loading and unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
Benefits:
  • Competitive pay rate of $1403 - $1700 average weekly
  • $0.60 per mile with 2000+ miles per week
  • $18.75 per stop with 8+ stops per week
  • $27.50 per night with 4 nights per week
  • Loyalty bonus of $5000, paid in two installments of $2500 at 6 and 12 months
  • Paid training

Requirements:
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
