Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Sylvan Learning Center in Ballantyne. As a part-time experienced teacher/tutor, you will have the opportunity to work with students of all ages, providing personalized instruction in various subjects, including study skills, reading, math, and SAT/ACT prep.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction to students in a 3:1 setting
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
  • Meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles and abilities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and teaching certificate or college junior/senior working towards degree in Math or Education
  • Ability to work with kids of all ages
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable form of transportation
