Phlebotomy Technician

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist I to join our team at Quest Diagnostics in Yakima, WA. As a Phlebotomist I, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in a clinical setting. This is a part-time position, working Monday to Friday, 4:00PM-8:00PM.

• Collect blood specimens from patients in a clinical setting, following established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions to patients as required.
• Verify patient information and test orders using lab technology systems and approved tools.
• Process specimens, including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties, such as inventory management, stock supplies, and sanitizing.
• Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training, such as medical assistant or paramedic training, preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred, required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
