Job Summary

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is a technical role at MultiCare Health System, Inc. where you will perform daily work functions from patient analytic laboratory testing, quality control, to data analysis and technical problem resolutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and identify specimens
  • Determine suitability of specimen; reject if necessary
  • Acquire and prepare reagents as needed
  • Perform instrument maintenance and calibration

Requirements

  • Associate degree
  • Current Certification of Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP) or registry eligible
  • Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification or eligible (if duties will include phlebotomy)
  • Minimum one year of previous laboratory experience preferred
