Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnographic Technician to join our team at Norton Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and complex Polysomnographic recordings, using their technical expertise to monitor and record patient data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Polysomnographic recordings using technical expertise and understanding of equipment used in monitoring.
  • Recognize parameters used in recording and perform PSG and CPAP/BiPAP testing in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Provide quality care to all patients and demonstrate a willingness to assist others.
  • Work well with minimal supervision and have strong, independent judgment.
  • Use department and hospital-wide policies and procedures during the provision of patient care.
Qualifications
  • One of: RPGST or RST or SDS
  • Desired qualifications include one year in a sleep medicine setting, diploma in Sleep Technology, Polysomnographic Technologist, Registered Sleep Technologist, or Sleep Disorders Specialty (National).
