Job Description

We are seeking an Information Security Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various security disciplines and technologies, including SIEM, IPS, and SOAR. You will assist the Security Operations Center (SOC) in detecting and responding to potential cyber-attacks, perform security incident triage, and work on various information security projects and initiatives.

You will also have the chance to work with the Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) team, driving security vulnerability identification, assessment, and remediation using vulnerability scanning and management technologies/procedures. Additionally, you will work within the corporate-wide Information Security Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) program, assessing IT and cybersecurity risks and identifying emerging cybersecurity threats.

Requirements
  • Actively pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in a related field of study, such as Computer Science, IT, or Cyber-Security.
  • Fundamental understanding of cybersecurity concepts.
  • Basic level Python programming skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a proven ability to think outside the box.
  • Customer service-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive within a team environment as well as on an individual basis.
