Position Overview:

The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for delivering respiratory therapy services to patients across diverse age groups in multiple healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administers respiratory care techniques and therapies as prescribed.
  • Monitors patient responses and adjusts treatments accordingly.
  • Collaborates with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid North Carolina Respiratory Care License.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and experience in acute care settings.
Essential Skills:
  • Exhibits proficiency in both communication and clinical practices for a diverse patient population.
