Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at UNC Health Southeastern. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing routine and advanced respiratory care procedures to critical and non-critical patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and advanced respiratory care procedures to critical and non-critical patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Applied Science in Respiratory Care from an approved school of respiratory therapy technology.
  • Registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
  • Valid NC Respiratory Care License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Previous acute care experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
Additional Requirements
  • Demonstrate an ability to apply age-appropriate principles of communication and clinical practice relevant to unique patient needs.
  • Demonstrate competence in the use of equipment and application of procedures before being allowed to perform independently.
