About the Position
VieMed Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Anesthesiology CRNA to join their team in Tampa, Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures, including cardiac, transplants, pediatrics, OB/GYN, thoracic, orthopedic, neurologic, and gastrointestinal cases.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations, administer anesthesia, and monitor patients during and after procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including anesthesia plans, medication administration, and post-anesthesia care.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with Level 1 Trauma experience.
- Current certification as a CRNA and licensure to practice in the state of Florida.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of acuity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, including Epic.
Work Schedule:
- 40-hour workweek with a mix of 4-10 hour shifts, 3-12 hour shifts, and rotating 1-8 hour shifts.
- Swing shifts available, including 11am-9:30pm, 11am-7:30pm, 3pm-11:30pm, and 11pm-11am.
- Weekend shifts available, including Friday-Sunday and Saturday-Sunday-Monday.
