Job SummaryThe Production Supervision Manager will oversee daily operations of the plant to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line for the T700/CT7 Engine Program. This role impacts departmental operations and is responsible for planning and execution. The position has some autonomy but is focused on executing activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required, but this is typically with guidance. The role requires a developed and strong foundation of functional skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees
  • Manage hourly employee populations
  • Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organization
  • Work together with business leadership at Directorial and Executive level
  • Specify needs, communicate about project approach, and present outcomes of research done
  • Deliver products as part of a team
  • Work on cross-functional teams, leading analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline, using prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy
  • In-depth understanding of key business drivers, using this understanding to accomplish own work, and in-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (Or high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Manufacturing experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing or GE Leadership Program Graduate in lieu of experience

  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience in an engine assembly or repair and overhaul environment
  • Experience with CT7/T700 engines
  • Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) graduate or a similar program
