As an iOS Application Engineer on our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and sustaining high-quality iOS applications that empower Apple retail operations worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to grasp project goals and requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust iOS applications.
- Implement user interfaces and functionalities that elevate the user experience.
- Diagnose potential issues and resolve application performance bottlenecks.
- Address application bugs prior to final deployment.
- Generate user documentation as necessary.
- Engage in on-call support rotation with the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Proficiency with iOS/MacOS frameworks such as Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, etc.
- Experience with RESTful web services, microservices architecture, and developing scalable applications/services.
- Strong grasp of Test Driven Development principles.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols and fundamentals (HTTP, DNS, TLS).
- Ability to initiate projects with incomplete requirements.
- Knowledge of mobile performance optimization techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React/Redux, Vue).
- Understanding of additional programming languages (Golang, Python).
- In-depth knowledge of multi-threaded system software design and development.
- Experience with containerization technologies, Docker, and Kubernetes.
