Job Title: Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider

MUSC Health - Black River Medical Center is seeking skilled Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Providers to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services for patients in Cades, SC, and the surrounding communities.

About the Role:
  • Provide direct care to patients through comprehensive history and physical examinations
  • Evaluate and treat patients based on history, physical examination, radiological, laboratory, and other diagnostic test results
  • Perform therapeutic procedures such as administration of local and digital anesthesia, complicated and uncomplicated repair of lacerations, and incision and drainage of abscesses
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN
  • 2 years of Emergency Room Experience as an APP or graduation from an Emergency Room Fellowship
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AGACNP or ACNP (Adult Gerontology Acute Care NP/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner) certification
  • FNP with current Emergency Room Nurse Practitioner (ENP) Certification
  • AGPNP/ANP with current Emergency Room Nurse Practitioner (ENP) Certification
