Job Summary

As a Food Service Expert at Target, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring that our food and beverage offerings are fresh, full, and food safe. You will work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage team to execute processes, maintain standards, and provide outstanding service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh, full, and food safe experience during all hours of operations.
  • Execute Food & Beverage processes, including food deliveries, replenishment, pulls, stocking, zoning, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, defect, signing, and backstock.
  • Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards, Food Service Routines, and all food safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage team to achieve business objectives and provide outstanding service to our guests.

Requirements
  • Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business.
  • Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required.
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
  • Work both independently and with a team.
  • Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
  • Attention to detail and follow a multi-step process.
  • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
