Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Floor Support Lead to join our team at BioSpace, Inc. as a key member of our Quality Assurance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership to a team of QA Specialists, while reporting directly to the Associate Director - QA Parenteral.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance and oversight to a team of QA Specialists, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Assurance Oversight: Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all quality-related activities, including deviations, observations, and corrective actions.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to ensure QA Specialists have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Maintenance, and Quality Representatives, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in a quality leadership role, with a strong background in parenteral manufacturing operations.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Information

This is a first-shift position, with occasional second-shift work required. The successful candidate will be required to work overtime as needed and may be required to travel up to 10% for meetings and coordination with global organizations.
