Radiology Technician Job Description

Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary

As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for taking medical images of patients using X-ray technology. You will work in a hospital, outpatient center, or other healthcare facility, preparing patients for X-rays, operating X-ray equipment, processing films for radiologists and physicians, and handling patient records.

Responsibilities
  • Take medical images of patients using X-ray technology
  • Prepare patients for X-rays, including positioning and instructing them on how to hold still
  • Operate X-ray equipment, including adjusting settings and ensuring proper function
  • Process films for radiologists and physicians, including developing and printing images
  • Handle patient records, including maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of recent experience as an X-ray technologist
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Current state license (if applicable)
