About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Services Inspector to join our team in the Okeechobee, Florida area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect construction work and conduct field tests to ensure compliance with contract documents.
  • Assist Senior CEI Inspectors in the performance of their duties and review work in progress.
  • Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
  • Perform daily field inspections and maintain inspection records.
  • Participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
  • Track quality assurance progress.
  • Conduct inspections, observations, and run materials tests to check construction work.
  • Communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing).
  • Receive general supervision from and assist Senior Inspectors in the performance of their duties.
Requirements
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
