Job Title: Senior Land Surveyor

iQuasar LLC is seeking a qualified Senior Land Surveyor to join our team in Germantown, MD.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Land Surveyor to perform and manage all field and office survey tasks associated with our land development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of subdivision and zoning regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform and manage all field and office survey tasks associated with land development projects.
  • Conduct boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and property records research.
  • Analyze field data, resolve boundary issues, and prepare finished drawings, subdivision plats, and property descriptions.
  • Ensure that work is being accomplished according to schedule, that all work is correct, and that budgets are controlled.
  • Prepare proposals, scopes, and fees for survey tasks.
  • Communicate project status and issues to others on the development team.
Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership characteristics.
  • Strong client service attitude and a focus on product quality.
  • Effective organization and communication skills.
  • Capable of performing tasks independently.
  • Reliable and available for overtime work when necessary.
  • Ability to analyze, implement, and embrace new technology.
  • Registration as a Maryland Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), or ability to obtain licensure in 6-12 months, preferable.
