Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Engineer III to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. This is a key role that requires a strong background in maintenance, electrical, and refrigeration. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex repairs, troubleshooting, and maintaining the physical property, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform highly complex repairs of physical property, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment, ensuring all methods, materials, and practices meet company standards and local and national codes.
  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs on all types of equipment, including pumps, motors, plumbing, electrical equipment, and HVAC systems.
  • Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work.
  • Display advanced knowledge of all engineering computer programs related to preventative maintenance, energy management, and other systems.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Display the ability to train and mentor other engineers as necessary.
  • Display ability to perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including readings and rounds.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
  • Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
