ResponsibilitiesUnder the guidance of the Coordinator of Applied Music, Private Music Instruction Specialists are tasked with delivering personalized lessons to students focusing on instrumental and vocal performance. Instructors are expected to conduct one hour-long lesson per student each week for a duration of 10 weeks during the semester.
QualificationsEssential Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in music performance, accompanied by a minimum of 3 years of experience teaching at the university level.
Desirable Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in music.
- A Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree.
- A recognized performer within the broader Boston area or the United States, with a proven track record of mentoring university students towards graduate programs and performance opportunities.
