We are seeking a committed Cardiac Recovery Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the Cardiovascular Services Director, Manager, and CV Prep and Recovery Supervisor, the RN delivers direct care to adult patients.

Responsibilities include preparing patients for cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures, overseeing their recovery in the CV Lab, administering medications, and documenting procedures for all patients in the CV Prep and Recovery unit. The RN will also provide conscious sedation for transesophageal echo procedures and monitor patients during cardiac stress tests, tilt table tests, and cardioversions.

The role involves addressing the psychosocial, physical, and overall care aspects related to the preparation and recovery process. Effective communication with physicians and patient families regarding patient conditions is essential. Additionally, the RN will assist in maintaining equipment and inventory while participating in departmental performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri is required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills are essential.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required and must be maintained.
- Previous medical-surgical experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in managing patient records and data entry.
