Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist or Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team at Mid-Michigan Area Public Schools Consortium. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations, providing consultation and support to students and staff, and developing and implementing interventions to promote student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychological evaluations of referred students using multiple assessment methods and tools
  • Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention plans
  • Provide consultation and support to students, parents, and staff on learning and behavioral difficulties
  • Develop and implement interventions to promote student success, including individual and group counseling sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement behavioral support plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student evaluations, interventions, and progress
Requirements
  • Master's (MA or MS) or Educational Specialist (EdS) degree in school psychology or equivalent
  • Current certification or eligibility for certification as a Full or Preliminary School Psychologist by the Michigan Department of Education and/or full certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB)
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a public school setting
  • Knowledge of crisis prevention and intervention techniques
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
